Hotel Apartamentos MPD ligger mindre end 600 meter fra Sankt Eulalia-basilikaen og 200 meter fra det romerske teater og amfiteatret i Merida. Der tilbydes indkvartering med fladskærms-tv. Udmærket lille lejlighed i et større kompleks beliggende meget centralt i byen. Der var parkeringskælder under komplekset. Reception ved modtagelsen, hvor vi fik nøgler m.v. Når man åbnede vinduet, havde man udsigt til udgravningen af et romersk bad. Merida er en meget spændende by, hvis man interesserer sig for Romerriget.

Hotel la Boheme ligger i hjertet af Cáceres ved porten til den monumentale UNESCO-fredede by. Its location is perfect. The hosts are incredibly nice and made us feel at home. They work very hard balancing their small coffee shop in the hotel’s lobby, their boutique hotel (and raising their young family). Getting to know them was great. Their breakfast rooms are incredibly clean.

Located in a quiet and pretty residential area of Cáceres, this elegant hotel offers free Wi-Fi and chic rooms. The outdoor pool is set within gardens. This is a hotel that rightly deserves its 4 stars. Although it’s exterior architecture is not to my taste, every effort has been made inside to create beautiful spaces - in the common areas, the breakfast room, the hotel room (we were upgraded to a huge Junior suite) and even the hallways. The buffet breakfast was the most extensive and delicious we have had in our time in Spain, with lots of healthy options. We had a light dinner in the restaurant (due to the usual late hour in Spain) and were very impressed by the menu options and food quality. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

NH Gran Hotel Casino de Extremadura is next to the Guadiana River, 10 minutes’ walk from Badajoz city centre and Alcazaba Fortress. It offers free WiFi and houses the Gran Casino de Extremadura. My wife and I stayed for one night at the NH Gran on our way from Spain to Portugal and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was of a very generous size and was well fitted out. The cleanliness of this hotel was exceptional. It smelt and was clean. Staff were very friendly with reception staff a standout in taking a little time to explain the sights of the city and to mark a few things on a map for us. It was very much appreciated. Lovely stay and recommneded.

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. Spændende gammel bygning. Flot indrettet.

Denne feriebolig ligger i Valle del Ambroz i den nordlige del af provinsen Cáceres. Den har til huse i en majestætisk bygning fra det 17. århundrede, der i sin tid var et kloster. Very close from all the sites. Very nice surroundings to walk around and take pictures. The staff especially Christina went out of her way to drive us to the bus terminal : something to remember

Casa Rural Castillo de Cáceres ligger i Cáceres, 20 km fra San Juan Church, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Our second stay here at this fabulous Castillo and it won’t be our last (hopefully!). A truly magnificent and atmospheric castle, loaded with history, but also modern day comforts like great heating, hot water and wifi. We splashed out on the Presidential Suite this time and it was definitely worth it. Great views out of the windows, very good shower and a comfortable bed. We were driving from Bilbao to Tarifa and it made the perfect half way stop over. No suppers provided but a grand old kitchen you are welcome to use to cook up your own food. Plus help yourself to breakfast in the morning. Easy, safe parking for our large van. We loved it - 10/10 Thank you

Dette hotel med 4 stjerner har gratis wi-fi, roomservice og en døgnåben reception. it such a nice getaway. we arrived late night, it was already dark - so in the morning we were surprised by the location. owner offered us a dinner - just for two of us - we have been the only guests that evening. salmon was one of the best we have ever had

Hotel Rural La Covacha ligger 15 km fra Monasterio de Yuste og tilbyder indkvartering med en sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool, en terrasse og roomservice. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh the lady even cooking us omelette one day then egg and bacon another .The whole hotel very clean very comfortable beds and fridge that actually got drinks very cold which is a first for us in over thirty years traveling Spain wonderful.plenty of lovely places to visit .Recommend this hotel very highly so much going back for another 5 days on return journey.
