We couldn't asked for a better place to stay, warming studio with very comfy bed and the view from our windows were amazing. There's plenty of shops/pubs within 10min walk from James place. We forgot to thank you for the lovely Wales cakes James. We certainly coming back!!! It was perfect! Highly recommended. Thank you so much James& family.

Exceptional service. Staff who greeted and managed our booking were superb. Magnificent food. Comfortable rooms. Easy to find. Accessible parking. Character-filled, with terrific views. I was surprised how they keep it so clean and tidy, they were so kind and helpful like I am visiting my long time family friend. Amazing. The Celyn is in a beautiful spot overlooking the Sugarloaf mountain and down the valley of the Gwryne. It is a fantastically quiet spot with no traffic noise and a short drive to some great pubs and Monmouthshire and Powys towns.
