In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. Free WiFi and parking on site is available for guests. We stayed in the converted barn part of the inn that is around the corner from the pub. It was really nice, high end, and recently renovated. There was a common room to hang out in too. We had great weather and were able to hang out in the garden but I think it would be really nice in the winter too since there is a fireplace. The pub had excellent food and the staff was great. We loved it and hope to go back.

A proper country pub with a real landlord with real character. Lovely staff and very friendly and engaging locals ... not a grunt, a growl, or a glower in sight, which has become the standard greeting across the rest of the UK. BEST Steak n Ale Pie ever - and they're not shy with the portions. HUGE full English breakfast and the best porridge ever .. and I'm Scottish, so I know my porridge. For our future forays into the Dales, we'll just be booking the one base .. and it's here.

The bed and breakfast provides garden views and a terrace. Our b and b was beautiful. She was lovely friendly and accomodating. The room and breakfast was lovely. I made a request for two pieces of homemade cake that I would collect. Instead she brought this to our room with a side of cream. This was unaccepted and a lovely consideration. She was very busy but nothing seemed a trouble to her to ensure guests were happy. We will definitely stay again. Thank you so much and see you again Jane and Jason

Dating back to 1693, the family-run Littlebank Country House is in a rural location on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
