The staff were excellent from Jeremiah who was so welcoming to Edward who was a complete wealth of Irish and local knowledge recommending a wonderful close by eatery for us. We commend Elvira as well who couldn’t have been more helpful. A real gem of a place.

The staff, when checking in, were pleasant as well as everyone working the breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet had lots of options and was very yummy. I'm from the States, so the added security of the access key needed to get around the halls was new to me and definitely a bonus.

With stunning design and spacious rooms, The Glasshouse is set on The Garravogue River The View Bar boasts fantastic river views, floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary design. The view from our room of the river onto the street was awesome from the 5th floor. The tub was great for a soak after a day of walking. The square was within walking distance. The town of Sligo was so cute. Every staff member we encountered was so helpful and courteous. Everything we wanted to see was only a 10 to 15 minute drive. We were there for 2 nights, wish we had time for more. I highly recommend The Glass House!
