Room were comfortable. Staff was courteous and food was excellent, loved every meal. Had all the amenities for family stay.

I was traveling with family and older parents. The house had ample space for all of us. The locations provided good morning walk and stream near by was nice touch. The home food provided for breakfast and rest of the meals are a must try for people visiting thoppil homestay. I would recommend skip the commercialized restaurant and give home cooked a try. Owner family is very warm and kind which makes the stay even more welcoming.

I wanted to try toddy and the captain helped me to purchase it from a local vendor. Do not miss canoeing in the backwaters to see tiny hamlets on both sides, giving a glimpse into the everyday lives of the people there. My room was surprisingly comfortable, much higher than I expected. The leisurely cruise gave me time to relax and absorb the calmness of nature. No TV or wifi, which is great for digital detox. It's a must-do in Kerala.

My room overlooked the sea, which was beautiful. The pool is not too shallow, which is fun. They offer a complimentary sunset cruise, which is a good addition.
