One of the best mattresses we had during our stay in Iceland. The rooms were both very clean and smelled fresh. The shared bathroom was also extremely clean. Since one of the rooms we booked had a private bathroom, the whole family showered there (great water pressure; very hot water too!), however, the shared bathroom seemed to be very clean too. There was a hot tub outside for guests to enjoy, and the property is next to a beach where you can spot birds.

The well-equipped kitchen and the tastefully decorated sitting room, and the hot tub are lovely corners to interact with fellow travelers and exchange information and reflections on the journey.

The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

A lovely modern guesthouse in a beautiful location with great views. The accommodation is modern, clean and cool. Staff var very friendly and helpful and the food (we had dinner) was very good. The accomodation is located in a farm, basically in the middle of nowhere, but it's totally worth taking the long journey in the Westfjords to get to this place. It has a very unique feeling, you are in the nature. I arrived very late, around midnight, but communication with the hotel staff and then self check in was very easy. After arrival I jumped into the hot pool (which is available 24/7), they have both outdoor and indoor pools (in an amazing palm house). Breakfast was divine with a lot of local produce, it's definitely worth the additional 2000 ISK that I had to pay for that. It's a place where I definitely have to return one day.
