Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I liked the atmosphere, the fact that you can meet others and exchange opinions on your journey and the traditional bath was really good.

They demonstrated extreme availability and sensitivity to our needs, ensuring every aspect of our visit was handled with grace and efficiency. ​It is rare to find a place where the setting, the structure, and the service align so perfectly. We wholeheartedly recommend and we look forward to return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Beautiful location, wonderful experience, very friendly staff! Would highly recommend! (And they’ll pick you up at the port)

Oyado Tsukiusagi is gelegen op 13 minuten lopen van Momijidani Park en 600 meter van The great Torii, en is voorzien van kamers in Miyajima. The hotel was just minutes from the port. The host was extremely helpful. Good coffee and tea available and a small area with homemade craft items for sale. The room was spacious including a balcony-like alcove looking toward the sea. The name - moon rabbit - was very fitting.

Mizuhasou ligt voor het Miyajima Aquarium en op 5 minuten lopen van de uitgang van het Itsukushima-heiligdom. Het biedt accommodatie met een moderne maar traditionele inrichting. Everything was fantastic - the rooms came with Yukatas, pajamas, vests, tea, water, a towel bag and one face wash set. The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable - that alone made the price well worth it, but add in the baths and lovely rooms & decor - just an unbelievable stay.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Fantastische onsen, heerlijk avondmaal en ontbijt, elke keer anders, gratis shuttle, ligging. Wij hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat er geen 2 nachten in dezelfde kamer vrij waren en van de verhuis hoefden we ons niks aan te trekken. Dat werd allemaal perfect voor ons geregeld.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Prachtige ruime kamers met uitzicht op zee en de shrine, heerlijke onsen met uitzicht op de shrine. Heerlijk eten. Goed ontbijt. Fantastische lounge mrt gratis drinken, wijn en snacks. Heerlijk ontbijt. Loopafstand dorpjes, bezienswaardigheden. Echt een aanrader

Sakuraya is gerenoveerd in 2013 en biedt betaalbare kamers in Japanse stijl met uitzicht op de bergen of de zee. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de openbare ruimtes. The location is great. The hotel is not far from the ferry terminal and from the tourist sights. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we received a few useful tips about exploring the island.

Miyajima Hotel Makoto bevindt zich in Miyajima, op 2,3 km van Tsutsumigaura Beach en 7 minuten lopen van Pagode met vijf verdiepingen, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele... Large, traditional apartment with private bathroom in great location. The hotel has a great public bath, but if you have tattoos you have to cover them up to use it. Yukata available in the room so you can walk around the hotel. Very nice and helpful staff.
