The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed is very comfy and facilities are well maintained and clean. The food is surprisingly good and like art pieces.

Featuring Portuguese elements in the hotel’s architecture and decor, it offers 2 restaurants and rooms with free internet. JR Nagasaki Station is a 20-minute tram ride away. We loved history of the Portuguese era and the location was amazing, walking distance to most attractions. Nagasaki is our favorite place on this visit, and would recommend it and the hotel

The hotel is located on the mountain and offers a grand view of Nagasaki Harbor and wharf especially at night. The staff are great, helpful and very polite. The facilities offer gorgeous views, several large baths (not onsen hot springs, but similar) a couple restaurant choices and a bar. Of course all the usual amenities are available. It's not the most modern hotel, but that's what gives it character. It was a fantastic choice for our last night in Nagasaki on this trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would book it again.

It is also one of the more affordable hotels with access to Huis Ten Bosch. My sister and I absolutely loved the room we stayed in. We wish we could have stayed longer! It had a gorgeous view of Huis Ten Bosch, which looked especially beautiful at night. The room reminded me of a cozy, European vintage room, like something I might find at my Grandma’s.
