I chose this hotel because it had good reviews, looked nice in the pictures, and was close to the location where the congress I attended took place. The hotel is indeed very good, with excellent value for money. It feels like staying in a nobleman's manor from the 19th century, with beautiful paintings, classic decor, wooden furniture, high ceilings, marble stairs, classic-style chairs and armchairs, and natural colors—all of which help you relax and rebalance emotionally and physically. The pillows, bed, and mattress are of very high quality, so I slept very well. The room has bathrobes and good-quality towels. I really liked the statue, a piece of art in the room, which made me feel like I was back in my childhood. It's very quiet, with no noise. The breakfast caters to the most refined tastes; I enjoyed the coffee, the wide variety of fruits, cheeses, seeds, yogurts, jams, sausages, porridges, and I appreciated that they had both juice and plant-based milk. The bread was delicious. The lady in the restaurant is very attentive and kind, always making sure you have everything you want and constantly replenishing the assortment. Therefore, I confidently recommend this hotel

Featuring eclectic decors with Art Deco influences, Hotel Splendid 1900 is located in a restored historic building dating from 1900. This accommodation is in the heart of the city of Craiova. It features free WiFi throughout the property. This hotel is an architectural gem, in the old center of Craiova. My room was very nice (I even had access to a shared balcony). The all-you-can-eat breakfast was fantastic, especially "Chefirul de Bailesti"! :) I went to the steam room and that was good, too!

Located in a residential area of Craiova, within a 5-minute walk from the old city centre, the Craiova University and the Nicolae Romanescu Park, Hotel Plaza offers air-conditioned rooms, free parking and fine cuisine. Good place to stay, the rooms are ok, you have cable tv as well. Of course everything is in Romanian but this is to be expected. The beds were fairly comfortable although not exactly for my taste. There was AC which kept the temperature like it should be. The bathroom was clean and there was enough space. The breakfast weren't included in the price for the rooms but it was not a problem. 100 Lei for each room and we occupied 2. The breakfast was good, had everything you need. The staff was polite. I can recommend the hotel!
