Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. Situated on Prästgatan pedestrian street in central Östersund, Hotel Emma offers free WiFi and individually decorated rooms with TV and a private bathroom with shower. Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and available from the moment of booking until our departure. Optimal location, truly feels like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and filled with local products. The first day we spent there we had breakfast at the hotel, while the second day it was the first time they were serving breakfast in a partnering Café basically next door to the hotel. Both breakfasts were great and we even received a complimentary little gift bag filled with local products in occasion of the first breakfast at the Café. Everything was perfect! We'll definitely return if passing through Östersund again.

Set in an 1883 theatre building, this hotel is within 200 metres of Östersund’s pedestrian street, Prästgatan, and the bus terminal. The theatre is a lively host for various events and music concerts.... Geweldig oud theater! Luxe, zeer sfeervolle ruime kamer op de hoek op de 1e verdieping met ruime badkamer met heerlijke rituals producten! Was echt super! Het ontbijt in de oude foyer is weer overdadig! De ambiance in het hele hotel is echt geweldig! Je waant je in het verleden met alles luxe van nu!

Ristafallets Camping is gelegen in Nyland in de regio Jämtland, op 18 km van Åre Train Station en biedt gratis WiFi, een speeltuin, een terras en gratis privéparkeren. The location was extraordinarily clean throughout the whole campground. The cabin was cute and served its purpose for my stay. The bathrooms were easy to access and everyone cleaned up after themselves.

Hotel Frösö Park ligt naast de Frösö Park Arena, op slechts 3 km van de luchthaven Åre-Östersund. Great, very clean hotel with a fantastic breakfasts with never ending choices. Children liked the games prepared for guests in the lobby. We were happy of the stay and recommend for both short and longer stays.

Dit hotel in lodge-stijl ligt naast de skipistes van Åre, op slechts 250 meter van het treinstation van Åre. Alles was perfect voor ons. De staat van het hotel, leuke sfeer, en een super goed ontbijt. Locatie is goed, 3 min lopen naar beneden en je bent in het centrum van Åre. Ook 5 min lopen tot skilift wat ideaal is. Mogelijkheid om na checkout nog spullen neer te zetten in het bagage hok & douchen in de sauna ruimte (als de ruimte vrij is op dat moment).
