The location is perfect, on the water in the centre of everything. Breakfast is excellent and lots of it! You can book any tour you want right there which is also very helpful.

Beautiful homestay a little outside town, Jasmine and her family went out of their way to assist with planning, logistics, and explanations and made the stay very pleasant. They have otorbikes for hire and free bikes ti wander around and the area immediately outside the door is great to explore (the pagoda, the river, the small village on the way). There's a swimming pool right outside the door and they serve simple and tasty local dishes in the restaurant (and cater to vegetarians too)

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating when I arrived late and made me dinner even though it was technically past dinnertime. I only stayed 2 nights but would've loved more time there!
