The dinners we had there, one Japanese and one western, were something not to be missed. It's been a pampering experience.

The staff are exceptional and the view is the most amazing we have seen in Japan. If you are looking for a great Ryokan experience in Japan then you can’t go past this little gem.

The property was perfectly located with a water view.

While I am not a fan of public bathing I found some hours when no one was there and I snuck in. What a luxury!!!! For next year I am getting suite with the private hot thermal spa so I don’t have to worry about the privacy. That having been said this place is six stars the service the food the Japanese ambiance and the entire experience is complete. I am an international traveler and I go to high end places only. This place was an amazing surprise in the middle of Unzen. I highly highly recommend it

Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan features a 1,650-square-meter Japanese garden, natural hot spring baths, free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar, cafe, souvenir shop and an exclusive lounge for guests staying in rooms on the 4th floor. peaceful area and good views from the room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed is very comfy and facilities are well maintained and clean. The food is surprisingly good and like art pieces.

The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Guests can stay in rooms with Western beds and a tatami (woven-straw) seating area or in rooms with tatami floors and Japanese futon bedding. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Spacious room with two bathrooms. Amazing Onsen experience and Kaiseki meals. Helpful staff.
