Everything was PERFECT! :D The hosts were so kind and helpful :D The rooms are confortable and beautiful. The view is amazing too (from ours we could see a small jinja in the garden). The private onsen is great! It is possible to use it from afternoon to 9:00 am. The breakfast is DIVINE. I do recommend booking the breakfast option as well. It is one of the best foods we had in Japan (and we have been living here for more than 3 years) :D. Now we are finding excuses to come back Chichibu again :D.

The staff was really nice and understanding! Over all the customer service was very good! I took the morning breakfast and it was maybe the best one I have ever had! It looked really simple but the dishes were really delicious!

The architecture and materials are wonderful, almost like time traveling back to fedual Japan. We had 2 rooms; 1 was on top of the resaurant facing the road and the other was in the back. The front facing room had a kotatsu, which we loved, but was a bit noisy due to the main road in front. The other room was a converted store house and was blissfully quiet, but had no windows. The materials (lots of wood) and decor were just what we were looking for. Because of our stay here we plan to visit their other Nipponia locations across Japan. They also have on-site parking if you are driving.
