We really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere in the room and the house built in the early 1700s is super beautiful with views right on the river! The room has everything you could need with a kitchen that's well stocked and even small luxuries like tea, coffee, and spices were available. We really also enjoyed Jan's hospitality and he made us feel at home and welcome! 😁

The flat was absolutely fantastic! The size alone blew our mind, it's huge! It has been furnished beautifully and with great care to make you feel at home. The host really thought things through to make sure there is everything you need. Schleiden is a cute little town. We were able to hike straight from our front door. Beautiful woodland walks just behind the property. Very good for keeping fit as there are plenty of steep inclines! The host provided a selection of local maps with round trips for hiking. Check in was great, we arrived an hour early and I called him. He was so kind and helpful, he let us in to the flat and came by shortly afterwards to programme the key pad with our personal code to get in and out. Very modern! It worked great and you don't need to worry about losing your keys!

The apartment had everything we needed and more, it really felt like home away from home. The bed was great, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the shower was very good. We really enjoyed the big garden with several seating areas to always get some sun (or shade). Silke and Peter were super friendly and happy to help us with anything we needed. The area is a dream for people who enjoy the outdoors, with mountain bike and hiking trails right at the doorstep. I would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect new house in nice location. From the front door you can start your hikes. House is new and very well equiped. We loved the kitchen and the fireplace. Also the garden is great. Good place to go with your kid(s)

It's a very spacious place! All rooms are huge. The kitchen was well equipped. Also there were fruits & drinks, for people (like us) who go there for walking trips. And, important!, a very good bed & mattresses. Also, the preparations were very good, including arranging a private parking space.

We were surprised at how big the apartment was, it was immaculately kept with lots of facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with a shower and a bubble bath, although we didn't use the bath. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable, each bedroom had access to an outside terrace or seating area. The owners even left a bottle of wine for us which was a nice surprise. The property is close to local shops . We will definitely stay there again.
