Presented to a very high standard, quiet and peaceful location. Excellent hosts who were kind and helpful, genuinely nice people. Homemade raspberry jam! Private spot looking out on an established garden setting. We found this a great spot to use as a base incorporating many beautiful nearby villages, lots of walks, quality pubs that do great meals and also within about 25 minutes of the sea. All up we really loved this place and will be definitely coming back.

Diane and Brian made us feel so welcome. They made sure it was warm enough, and they brought in basic supplies, we did turn up an hour early which was my fault as thought check-in was earlier, they were happy to let us in. We came down that way for a break from city life, all you can see is the village a distance away, fields, trees, babbling brook, and they were happy to let us explore their land. Poor heaven for R&R. I can not fault the place and will happily be returning very soon. It did start to snow, which I got my car stuck in the driveway and ended up making a mess of their grass, they were more concerned that we were warn enough and not to worry about grass as it grows back. I did get out and back, no problem. I will say if you have a lowered car make sure you go as slowly as possible, the lane will be easier when it's drier, but don't let that make your decision to come or not, I made it in my lowered car. One thing, the bathroom door is a little squeaky, I didn't have a Wd40 with me. Normally, I have it in my car. Anyways, thank you, Diane and Brian, see you both soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The barn overall is beautiful, the shower and kitchen are both lovely. The fresh eggs, bread and milk along with muesli, tea, coffee and sugar are very thoughtful and welcome. The kitchen is very well equipped.
