It was so comfortable, plenty of room, loved waking up to seeing the sheep grazing. Judith our tour guide was great as was Evalyn the head housekeeper who showed us to our suite.

Good communication, exceptional views, spacious flat, spotless. Very comfortable for a family with lots of outdoor space for the kids to run. The sheep and horses are a plus.

Our host was very kind and helpful. The room is really nice and well equiped. The tea and the biscuits were welcome after a long day of travelling.We travelled to Berwick-upon-Tweed from London and in Berwick we took the bus tot Melrose. It was only a little walk from the bus stop to Mill cottage. We came to Melrose to walk the St.Cuthbert's way, from Melrose to Holy Island in 7 days. Mill cottage was a good place to start.
