Satish, the owner, is a great guy. A person that you like from the first glance. Regarding location, it's kind of a farm house that you need to reach by unpaved road and then some 200 meters of a walk on a narrow path between fields. The Tuk-Tuk drivers on the train station ask a lot of money to reach there, so better take a shared one to the town center and then walk or take another one. Toilet paper and soap were provided, which is not that common for India.

The Lakeside staff is super friendly and always ready to help. They treated us to delicious tea and coffee. The place is perfectly clean, cozy, and atmospheric. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, and everything works well. It’s quiet at night, and I slept very well. The location is fantastic — on the shore of a beautiful lake, next to a temple and a museum. In the evenings, we enjoyed watching romantic sunsets and the abundance of birds on the lake. The terrace, with its beautiful views of the temple and lake, was wonderful for practicing yoga. The owner is a yoga master who teaches and trains. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay and the best possible experience.

The lunch was so incredibly tasty and was sourced locally from Ajay’s own local farmlands. I’ve never had such tasty homemade food in India despite being Indian, and the friendliness made me feel like I made a second home! The trip to Bageshwar Dham was especially memorable and valuable for me.
