Whitsunday Sands Resort har en unik beliggenhed på sin egen private halvø ved det turkisblå vand i Great Barrier Reef. Samtlige gæster har privat adgang til 2 separate, pragtfulde strande. An outstanding place to stay sandwiched between two attractive beaches on the outskirts of Bowen. Our upstairs unit was spacious and clean and had fabulous views from the valcony out over the well kept grounds to the ocean. We self catered, but the motel has a bar and there is a restaurant down by one of the beaches which is open on certain days of the week. I understand there is also a Thai restaurant nearby which opens at weekends. We enjoyed the circular walk up to the radar station lookout and clambering over the rocks to a couple more secuded coves. There is also a swimming pool sensibly situated to the side of the building we were in. Reception was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated the on site laundry.

Harbour Cove ligger i Airlie Beach, mindre end 1 km fra Boathaven Beach og 11 minutters gang fra Airlie Beach. Her er en udendørs swimmingpool og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi. The location was perfect for us close to the marina the restaurants and the walking trails are just terrific . We just loved our stay here at Harbor Cove

Hidden Cove on Hamilton Island by HIHA ligger i Hamilton Island, 14 minutters gang fra Catseye Beach og mindre end 1 km fra Hamilton Island Marina. We were greeted by someone the airport and driven to Hidden Cove. The unit also comes with a golf cart/buggy. The buggy was at the airport, and my husband drove it to the until while our greeter drove the rest of us and our luggage to the unit. The layout was great for our family of 6. Three bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom plus an additional half bathroom. The views were amazing. Great balconies. The infinity edge pool was gorgeous. Only having a 4 seater buggy was challenging because there were 6 of us. I don't know if a second buggy could be rented and where it could have been parked. There was only enough parking at the unit for one. Transportation back to the airport was arranged by the rental agency. We had to check out at 10, but our flight was not until 3, so they took us to resort center to each lunch, shop, etc while we waited and then took us to the airport closer to our flight time.

We have stayed in many accommodations, but this one truly deserves the best review! It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay – a cozy and well-equipped cabin, a beautiful setting, and, most importantly, outstanding hospitality. We initially booked for three nights but had to extend day by day due to extreme weather and car troubles. Jenni, who manages the accommodation, was an absolute gem! She was incredibly helpful, flexible, and always available whenever we needed anything. Her kindness and support made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a truly special experience. This place is a rare find, and we couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Thank you, Jenni, for everything – we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
