We stayed at Rate Tonight Homestay West Nanjing Road Branch Shanghai from December 1 to December 6, and honestly, we were really happy with the whole experience. From day one, the staff made everything easy for us. Every time we had a question, they replied fast and clearly, which helped a lot since it was our first time in Shanghai. We felt looked after the entire stay, and it took away all the stress that usually comes with traveling. What we appreciated most was how smooth everything went. No issues whatsoever—check-in was easy, the room was ready, and all our inquiries got answered quickly. It’s rare to stay somewhere and not have even a small problem, but this place managed it. We felt taken care of and heard every time we reached out. The location is also a big plus. Being right around West Nanjing Road made it so convenient to walk to malls, restaurants, and the metro. Even though it’s a busy area, we didn’t have trouble resting at night. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable five-night stay. The bed was good, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the space felt safe. Communicating with the host was also easy. They were friendly, quick to respond, and gave helpful information about the area and the check-in process. Little things like that really matter when you’re in a new city. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. No complaints at all. It’s the kind of place we’d recommend to anyone visiting Shanghai, and we’d definitely stay here again in the future.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and quite helpful. They went out all the way to ensure my stay was comfortable in all respects. The location also offered access to many tourist attractions.

The Manager Ben did his best to make sure our early check-in request can be fulfilled. He and his team made us feel we were staying at home. The location is so central and it was easy to go everywhere. Loved our 2-bedroom apartment with balcony. All facilities are very fine. Even the scent smells so nice! It was such a bless to find this place to stay for our unforgettable 4 nights in Shanghai. They have a rooftop bar as well so it was easy to catch up with friends.

Excellent apartment, clean and comfortable. Complementary access to close by Ritz-Carlton's Gym was very pleasant surprise for us. For breakfast you could choose either European like bakery or Vietnamese caffe, which was also very convenient. Cleaning every day with bottled water provided. Location is in the center of the City, even a bit too much luxury for us. Definitely will stay in these apartments next time we are in Shanghai!
