Excelllent location right in the central of Mainz. The host was very friendly and we got a free upgrade. The room was very spacious and we love it. Secured parking was 25 euro, a little pricey but it was gated and very convenient. We will stay here again if we visit Mainz in the future. Lovely hotel!

Our stay at this lovely place felt like stepping into a little fairytale in the middle of the countryside. The room was spotless and beautifully prepared, and we were pampered with a bedtime herbal tea, a date, and a thoughtful selection of other drinks — such a sweet touch! There’s also a wonderful shared kitchen, very clean and welcoming, where we enjoyed meeting other friendly guests. The bathroom was immaculate, with a refreshing shower and a wonderfully fragrant hand soap (I think it was lemongrass!). Our host, Laurette, was absolutely delightful — warm, attentive, and easy to communicate with. She was very understanding as we kept her updated during our drive. Our dogs were also warmly welcomed, which made the stay even more special for us. All in all, it was a truly charming and peaceful stay — one we’ll remember fondly and hopefully repeat on our next trip!

Easy walk to the town with a selection of excellent restaurants and a great place to explore Ahr Valley a bit further (we did a walk through the local vineyards for example).
