It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

This stay felt like coming home and being on a family visit. Abeer and Austin gave me a very warm welcome. The location of the place is great and close walk to the train station / bus. I received honest and good info regarding my trip. I got a room downstairs. It was completly like on the pictures. Clean, big and silent. If you visit Luxor there is no other place to stay. I wish Abeer and Austin all the very best.

If you have spent more than 30 minutes looking for where to stay in Luxor, you will already know that the accommodations you will find in Luxor will be of three types: - Hotels with an unbeatable price (believe me, they will not meet your expectations despite the investment) - Surprisingly cheap hotels with major shortcomings that will make your trip a mediocre experience (lack of cleanliness, rickety furniture, unbearable traffic noise, poor staff attention) - Golden Life Apartments (a gem that you should evaluate as your best option) The advantages are many: - It's on the west side. It is an area away from the commotion of the East side and so close to the monuments that you can arrive before anyone else to see them. It is the truly genuine side of Luxor where you will see real Egyptian life and where you will find small restaurants on the banks of the Nile with the essence you are looking for. Don't worry about the distance to the East side of the Nile. Crossing to the other side will take you less than 4 minutes and the price is ridiculous. - The pool is private and you only share it with two other apartments. A space where you will relax after exhausting days. You can drink whatever you want (including alcohol) on the pool terrace and at any time. - They speak English (Sari is European). Language is a barrier that causes confusion and can complicate your trip. - The treatment of Sari and her husband Ahmed is impeccable. Whatever you need you will have it instantly. The human team is very polite and friendly (in line with the hospitality you will find throughout the country). - Don't bother looking for excursions elsewhere. They will provide you with any imaginable excursion, transfers, driver, guide, recommendations... Believe them when they give you a price. It is exhausting to negotiate every step you take in the country without feeling like you are being scammed as a tourist. They will give you reasonable prices.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this accommodation in Luxor! The location is perfect – centrally situated and close to all the major attractions. The standout feature of our experience was the exceptional service provided by Aymen. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, helping us organize seamless tours to both the West Bank and East Bank. His local knowledge and attention to detail ensured we didn’t miss a single highlight. What truly sets this place apart is Aymen’s willingness to assist with everything, even beyond the usual expectations. He personally helped us navigate the passport office and ensured we got our registration stamp without any hassle – something we couldn’t have managed without him. The hospitality, convenience, and Aymen’s amazing support make this accommodation a top recommendation for anyone visiting Luxor. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

Staff do everything to make you feel comfortable and happy. My experience with them was amazing. They booked all the trips for us for a fair price, they took us to the ferry (even if it was only a 7 min walk), you can book a private ferry with them to the other side of the river where most of the hotels are, but believe me you are not going to miss too much if you only stay at the hotel, enjoy the Nile view from their pool and have a cold beer that they offer to you All the prices for the tours and meals are fair, and please try fish tagin, it is amazing!!! Sayde is so friendly, I will miss talking about life with him in the edge of the pool.. Hotel is located in a quite area, with 24 hours ferry to the other side, no Hassel, secure and nice real Egyptian people around. Good opportunity to have a stroll around.in the morning and see the people and the kids around. I definitely recommend!!! Felt at home. Hotel is super clean, flat is huge, amazing view from the balcony. Everything you want in a trip to Luxor. Osman, the driver is very very kind!!

We had an amazing experience at Casaloko during our trip to Egypt. The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming especially Mohammad. The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect stay. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Really THE best hotel to stay in Luxor. The owners Mahmoud and his brother Mohammed created their own little paradise in Luxor, and were willing to share it with us. They made our stay very pleasant and were so helpful. They always asked if we were ok, if our room was ok, or if we needed anything else. As they are locals to the area, they also have many connections, which we made use of when organizing some tours. And they are very sincere and honest about the prices, as their main goal is to make their guests happy and feel at home, and not to make a quick buck from organizing tours. They also cook delicious Egyptian style dishes, made from fresh ingredients bought on the same day. Tasneem Palace is conveniently located on the West Bank, near the public pier. It only takes a few minutes by foot, in case you would like to visit the East bank side of Luxor. Their rooms have everything you need. The beds are comfortable with nice warm blankets, a spacious bathroom and we even had a living room with a small kitchen and a refrigerator and stove. How incredible is that 👍!! All in all, just amazing. I can’t praise Tasneem Palace enough, as it is just such a great place to stay. You won’t regret it, as Mahmoud and Mohammed will make sure you will have an incredible time.
