The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need — it even has a slow cooker and a rice cooker, which is very convenient. We also really appreciate the attention to small details — the curtain in the shower booth to keep dry area dry, the mirror outside the bathroom (so you can do your makeup while someone else is taking a shower), plenty of power outlets including an extra extension cord in the bedroom. Even though the room is on the second floor (this is informed clearly when booking), so carrying luggage upstairs can be a bit tiring, but the staircase is wide and not steep so it is not that hard. The code for the key box and check-in instructions were sent before arrival, and it was very easy to access the apartment. The view of Kirkjufell from every windows is superb!

The house was very spacious which was nice for our family of 5 travelling. We did not follow the spa instructions and as a result the it was super hot, I would recommend following the instructions provided in the house
