Each accommodation at the 1-star apartment has quiet street views and free WiFi. The apartment features family rooms. The room was beautiful! Plenty of space for the three of us. There were some extras provided like umbrellas and slippers, and the aircon worked very well. Amazing facilities (e.g., washer, shower/bathroom). Was also a handy booklet inside with great local restaurants, facts about Kanazawa, and information for a "Museum Passport" which we took full advantage of. Walking distance from food, museums, and Kanaza Castle. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who comes to Kanazawa, and will try stay here again when I return.

Close to great restaurants ( we loved the one over the road )😀. Clean. Simple. Water pressure in shower was great.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Michio was great to do airport pick up and take us to pick up bags at Yamato. He also explained everything about the house and showed us the neighbourhood on a map. The house had great facilities, loved the bath and the yukatas were nice to wear. My favourite part was the garden which was so peaceful and lovely lit up at night. Great amentities in kitchen for cooking and everything was spotlessly clean. The house was very warm and comfortable overall. Super central in Kanazawa, we were able to walk to Kanazawa Castle Park and Higashi Chaya District and the train station quiet easily and it was very close to Omicho market.

It was a beautiful Japanese house with an amazing host Mr. Hitty, who fascinated us with his ancestral tales of samurais in the Edo era. We would have stayed a few more nights had we had time. You can't go wrong with Kanazawa Machiya Kenroku, if you are men and women of culture.
