Blisstia Hakone Sengokuhara Adult only is gelegen in Hakone, op 12 km van station Hakone-Yumoto, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren en een restaurant. Het hotel is nieuw, de kamer die wij hadden was super groot, zeker voor Japanse begrippen, super schoon, lekkere bedden, heerlijke onsen en een fantastisch uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Echt een aanrader! Wel op tijd een eetplek in de buurt reserveren of rond 18:00 opzoek gaan naar avond eten in de buurt, veel restaurants sluiten vroeg.

Rakuten STAY FUJIMI TERRACE Hakone Ashinoko bevindt zich in Hakone, op 17 km van station Hakone-Yumoto, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. View: The view was unreal, especially from 10AM-sunset (early morning can be a bit cloudy, we went in March). You get a full skyline with the shore, the dock, the mountains, the lake, Mt. Fuji, the Torii gate, and the tourist ships that pass by once in a while, from both the balcony AND the onsen bath. It was everything. Food: There is a 7eleven practically across the street with everything (even fishing supplies haha!) and a Lawson about 10 walking mins away (which is also the Motohakone-ko bus stop with routes to downtown (?) / Odawara station & more). The fridge was filled with drinks (incl. a bottle of wine) and a box of food for each person, we got the sandwich box which included smoothies, instant soup, bread, salad, and a very delicious patty that required cooking. Kitchen is fully equipped and packed with cooking supplies though so you should have everything you need even if you want to bring your own ingredients and cook a full meal. There are also some small cafes and restaurants within 15-20 mins walking distance, but we just bought loads of noodles, salads, and rice dishes from 7eleven and stayed in the whole time. Experience: There are just so many ways to enjoy this place round the clock: wake up early for a morning stroll and beat the crowd at the popular Torii gate--yes there will be a 30-40 people line to take pictures with it :) (the place is only 10-15 mins walking from Hakone shrine and the Torii gate, with a beautiful lake-side path!), come back and enjoy the view from your balcony once the sun is up, rest your feet in the onsen footbath while having a coffee, watch a movie in the living room with the huge projector, play with the telescope at night, take a bath in the onsen...anytime (it's always on at the perfect temperature).

THE HARBOR TERRACE is gelegen in Kotsubo, op een paar minuten lopen van Zaimokuza Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Hotel Sengokuhara 533 bevindt zich in Hakone, op 13 km van station Hakone-Yumoto, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. It was very clean and comfortable. The fridge was stocked full of treats. My son left his soft toy behind- the staff very kindly forwarded it to us by the next day (beautifully packaged with origami!)

Enoshima Apartment Hotel is gelegen in Fujisawa in de regio Kanagawa, dicht bij Katase Higashihama Beach. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Very nice house. Complete in all facility and very clean. No long distance from parking.

Children's cafe B&B Kimie ligt in Kamakura, op 2,8 km van Yuigahama Beach en minder dan 1 km van Heiligdom Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, en biedt gratis WiFi en een terras. De accommodatie heeft een hot tub.... ABSOLUTELY WOULD GO BACK ! The house is lovely, my room had a balcony which was so nice to be able to open the door and hear the water below and the wind in the trees at night. The bed was very comfortable and I had AC. The house shakes a little when a big truck passes by, but honestly it’s not that bad, it’s just the quirk of an old house. The bathrooms are shared which wasn’t an issue even with other guests, even the big shower room was always free when I needed it. There’s a communal room downstairs and a communal balcony too. The host was great, always ready to help if needs be and her breakfast were absolutely delicious 😋 I would have stayed a whole month just to have her cooking on the morning. Be advice it is traditional Japanese breakfast with fish and side dishes. I loved it and couldn’t recommend it enough, such a nice home cook meal to start the day. The location was easy to find, you can walk around to see multiple temples and shrines. There’s a street with street foods and restaurant 15 min walk away which I was on every night 😊 it was very easy to get to the seaside from Kamakura station and than to take the electric “classic” tramway. Just be aware that a lot of commerce and the railway close early, so planned your day accordingly. All in all I spent a lovely weekend at the B&B and would gladly go back again.

So helpful and considerate. Beautiful property. Great apartment, fantastic design. Well situated, close to center/beach/ Enoshima.
