Rakuten STAY TERRACE Hakone Kowakudani bevindt zich in Hakone, op 7,3 km van station Hakone-Yumoto en 48 km van Shuzenji tempel, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele... Loved our stay here! It had everything we needed and more: • Large room with 2 comfortable double beds • Projector, with Netflix, Prime etc. (note you’ll have to sign in if you have an account) • Kitchenette • washing machine/dryer • Dining room • Balcony with foot spa • And the best bits, Sauna and Private indoor onsen bath in the room (with Mountain View - not Mt Fuji but it was still nice being surrounded by greenery after our city trips) They even provided us with some snacks and drinks in the fridge which was a lovely touch! We got the J bus from Odawara (I think it said approx 30 mins but with traffic took a bit longer!) The bus stop pretty much stops 100m from the hotel. There’s a bus stop across the road that takes you back towards Hakone/Odawara. There’s Kowakudani Station 5 mins walk from the hotel (which will take you to Hakone and Odawara too) We recommend going to Hakone Picnic, Taiwanese restaurant for food. The food and service was great, and it had incredible views of the mountain, again 5 mins walk from the hotel. A little further up the hill maybe another 5 mins is a 7 eleven. Despite not having a reception, check in was fairly straightforward (this can be done in your room) and queries were quickly answered and resolved through a FaceTime call (using their iPad). Note: details for access and your room is provided prior to your stay via email/booking.com messages. I’d definitely stay in a Rakuten hotel again!

NEW OPEN『天然温泉』芦ノ湖畔の完全貸切別荘 ligt op 14 km van station Hakone-Yumoto en 37 km van Shuzenji tempel, en heeft gratis WiFi en een tuin. The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

Rakuten STAY FUJIMI TERRACE Hakone Ashinoko bevindt zich in Hakone, op 17 km van station Hakone-Yumoto, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Amazing view of the lake and Mt Fuji with a private onsen. Very spacious. Location was very central with a bakery only 3 minutes walk away, and 7-11 a 2 minute walk across the road. The washing machine was excellent, although it took a couple of hours to wash and dry, this wasn’t an issue as you could do it overnight and have clean dry clothes the next morning. Despite other reviews we had no issues with check in, just make sure to fill in the required information and upload passport pics when they email it to you a day prior.

The beds are comfortable. Kimie is extremely welcoming and accommodating, she is extremely kind and easy to talk to, nothing is too much for her. A very safe and enjoyable space for a solo traveller.

More than that, the contact person, Toshi, handles your needs in a personal manner no hotel can offer. From greetings, to suggestions, to specific inquiries about the tourist attractions. All in all, a superb facility!

So helpful and considerate. Beautiful property. Great apartment, fantastic design. Well situated, close to center/beach/ Enoshima.
