Located in Kuwait, Residence Inn by Marriott Kuwait City offers modern accommodations. Each room here will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a microwave. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, they really added to our stay, including arranging for a car to take us to sites we wished to see. We got an upgrade to a corner sea view room with floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides. Excellently furnished, great bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding with a chef making eggs to order and many buffet items to choose from. Highly recommend. It was about a 15 minute walk along the sea walk to the Kuwait Towers which was fun to do and see. Bonus: free transportation to and from the airport. There was a nearby school where parents were dropping off or picking up children, creating traffic jams that were rather fun to watch. There are sandy parking lots that fill up during the day near the hotel. All in all, a fine location and a great hotel.
