Fantastic stay! Rita herself is really warm and welcomed us with bottle of wine. The apartment is really cozy but so easy to live in! The kitchen was well-stocked and the air conditioning was a great relief as we stayed on some hot days. Rita was extra welcoming to our cat - they provided litter box, scratch post (which our cat LOVED), and a hiding place. As we are often crawling around after our cat’s toys, the apartment is REALLY clean. This apartment was unique bringing Guimarães inside through artistic touches and info. The location is a quick walk to everywhere. They really go ABOVE and take GREAT CARE of their guests. We will be back in the winter!

Absolutely stunning apartment in the heart of the birthplace of Portugal! My wife and kids enjoyed a lovely week holiday on this property where we were met by the host that right away made us feel extremely welcomed and at peace in all senses! They were very helpful with ideas and recommendations of places to visit and enjoy some amazing local gastronomy, all the amenities were 100% well kept, safe for children of all ages. The kitchen had all the appliances needed, the laundry room was always well stocked and full of bedsheets, blankets, extra pillows and detergents. We cannot recommend this property enough and we will definitely come back on future holidays! Guimarães has won a special place on our hearts.

The hosts were awesome and went out of the way to make us comfortable- picked us up in town and drove us back. We had a rest day here on our Camino and it was very rejuvenating. We enjoyed the sunset evenings on the rooftop terrace. The wife even brought us rice pudding for a treat and a complimentary bottle of wine. Because the host was willing to drop us off and pick us up in Valenca or Tui, we were able to do a lot in 2 days.
