Superb small hotel in a great area of Hanoi. The staff were very friendly and personal. Room extremely comfortable. Little things like free water bottles are great. I stayed twice and will again if I return to Hanoi. Loved the location. I spent days walking the very safe small alleys around the hotel and very rarely saw other tourists. I went to the old quarter and hated how touristy it was. So happy I stay here instead.

Great place to stay in the French Quarter of Hanoi. The owner is a really friendly, helpful guy who made everything better. Rooms are a nice size with everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. The location is great. A block and a half from Hoan Kiem lake and the area the hotel is much much less touristy than staying in the Old Quarter, though it's a 15 minutes walk away. Lots of delicious places to eat around it.

The personal touch, professionalism, caring attitude of the staff is outstanding. This was our second stay for this trip and they assigned us the best room they have but it's on the 4th (highest) floor. However the staff was there to help bring our 2 heavy luggage up though we checked in late due to traffic delay. When we checked out at 4am to catch a flight, the staff was again there to bring down our luggage. He waited for our Grab car to arrive, helped to load up our luggage before saying goodbye to us. What more can we ask. Kudos to Bamboo Homestay. We'll stay there when we visit again. Highly recommended. Fantastic location with many food stalls nearby. Free washer and dryer on 5th floor was a great help too.

The studio apartment was very clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I originally booked for 4 days and extended my stay there for another 9 days. I loved the location, near to West Lake and in a local area, with lots of coffee shops nearby, especially the small one in the same lane as the apartment building. I had coffee there every day. I would very happily stay there next time I am in Ha Noi, and have already recommended it to friends.

Comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi which is a lot more than can be said for other places I stayed at in Hanoi the area is good and there are restaurants nearby you can easily get to everything that is worth seeing I can recommend this place 100%, the only regret I have is that I didn't book it for longer
