The host was very kind and very friendly. She greeted us with whisky when we arrived, and told us the story of Gordon House. She also gave us a good recommendation for dinner (as she doesn't provide it herself on weekdays anymore). The room was clean, and everything was as described. The building is old, so don't expect fancy modern interiors, but everything is clean and the owners constantly work on improving it. And I must mention that the full Scottish breakfast was very good.

Love the cabin room #8 that we stayed in for 2 nights. It was elegantly decorated, clean and very comfortable. Excellent location. Scott & Helena are so warm and friendly, their recommendation of places to visit was excellent. Scott makes an excellent breakfast, must try the Ravenscraig Breakfast. Highly recommend this guest house when in Aviemore

Great central location. Had a wonderful stay. Last minute booking, and the heater was on when we arrived! Comfy beds. Nice lounge to relax in and a well-appointed kitchen. Definitely stay here again next time.
