Borgo Paradiso Guest House ligger i Maccagno Inferiore, 28 km fra Lugano Station og 30 km fra Centro Esposizioni Lugano. Her er en terrasse og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Borgo Paradiso is located on a rather steep hill and allows a spectacular view over the roofs of Maccagno to Lago Maggiore. Our guest house was more than 100 years old, but nicely renovated. Our 2 rooms were on each side of a fully equipped kitchen with access to a balcony. The rooms had a good size, a wooden ceiling, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a good size and even a window! Our host Charlene spoke excellent English and was extremely nice and helpful. She offered us a gift of blueberry jam and honey and a coupon for free ice cream in the village. She also sent us advice for restaurants and which sights to see at Maccagno. Also the farmer who brought the breakfast (with fresh bread, cake, cheese and prosciutto) was very nice and made us feel welcome.

Maccagno is a small, friendly village with ample bars and restaurants. Sole and Lago is beautiful. Davide built and designed the apartments to have privacy and to contain everything one needs in a modern, efficient living space; you get the WOW factor upon entering the apartment…then comes the view - absolutely gorgeous! Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

It was our best apartment so far for our entire 6-week trip to Europe. The place was sparkling clean, totally comfortable in every way, great bedding, all facilities were there. Secure parking behind automatic gates, very walkable location, close to most local attractions. Recommended to all!

Our host Fabio literally took us to town, late in the evening upon our delayed arrival, to find for us the only restaurant that was still open.

We loved our stay in Stresa, it's a fantastic location so central and so close to the Lakes so very convenient and nice to be in the thick of it to walk to restaurants and caffes.

Lovely and good size apartment, all very new, clean and well organized, right in the center of Stresa, conveniently located near restaurants, shops and the lake. Meggy, the owner was very positive and smiling and always in the line to help us. She was ready to solve any issue that may arise. I strongly recommend it. There was even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco coffee and some snacks waiting for us :-) in the future if I come back to Stresa, definitely will choice Meggy again. Bella Italia chalet ligger ca. 14 km fra De Borromeiske Øer. Her er balkon, kaffemaskine og udsigt til en have. Dette feriehus har privat pool, have, grill, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Great new chalet in a little village Monte / Massino Visconti with local bakery and supermarkt. Surrounded by locals, lovely view at Lake Maggiore and garden. 15 minutes from Lesa at Lake Maggiore. Nice helpful owner. We were the first guests. A lot of space inside. Dinner: pasta pizza Meta and fisg local at FociSpina in Nebbiono.

Location is nice and quiet.
