There is a fantastic restaurant called the Brothers butchers shop (Macelleria) (easily found on Google) - we had the best Fillet steak there.

This was the perfect place to relax for a few days away from big cities, traffic and crowds. The hosts were super friendly, and had no issue with us not speaking much Italian - we communicated in a funny mix of English and Italian, mostly successfully :) The room was very nice, all done in natural wood in Alpine style. From our windows we had views over a magnificent mountain valley. The huge lavender bush by the house filled the air with wonderful aromas. The setting was practically idyllic. The breakfast was very good. The area has a lot of hiking possibilities in the summer - there are many trails, and they are generally well marked.
