The Nomad Inn Gujo ligger i Gujo Hachiman-distriktet i Gujo, 46 km fra Gero Station, 1 minutters gang fra Rensho-ji Temple og 100 m fra Joinji Temple. I loved every aspect of my staying at the Nomad Inn! Masa is an outstanding host. Knowing that I was in town for the Gujo Odori Festival, he introduced me to one of the dancers and helped me having a memorable experience. He also recommended many different places to eat and visit and assisted me with the transportation of my very heavy luggage. I really wish to go back one day and have more time to enjoy his well-equiped and cozy house! I will never forget my short - but incredible - stay at this beautiful place.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were great and very informative about the location and transport options etc. An absolute must stay if you are near the area. The food was incredible for breakfast and dinner, very traditional and gorgeous meat. The private baths are the best we went in, the fact they are private is a massive plus. We had the best time here; thank you to all the staff! It is also really close to the bus station to get to the Kamikochi Valley.

Spacious rooms, very tastefully decorated in a minimalistic style. The private onsen was blissful. Food was excellent (although a bit pricey). The hotel is 5 minutes from the bus station, with connections to the main cities and to the Kamikoche park. Overall, highly recommended.

Auberge Hidanomori blev genåbnet efter renovering i 2022. Det ligger i rolige bakker, 10 minutters kørsel fra JR Takayama Station. The food and experience is phenomenal for the price paid. Please take the dinner and a few glasses of wine - the host is exceptional with pairings and the food is unimaginably good. The bath even though shared is also very nice with a full onsen vibe. Everything in the building has very obviously been meticulously thought through.

The lady who serves the dinner is the most elegant and kindly person we have never met before.

Location, private onsen in the suite, kaiseki dinner is elegant and delicious, so is the delicious breakfast, both served in our room, it’s a great experience. The staffs are very warm and helpful. It gave free entrance ticket to the big public onsen which is a great extra benefit.

Beautiful location and view of the river from the room we stayed in. Friendly host. The property had all the necessary amenities and was of a good size.
