Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. We stayed in one of the rooms with the private hot spring and it was so relaxing! Also great to try the other ones too for a full experience.

The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

With staff who can speak English at the counter. Explaining alot of the details when I go from hot spring to dinner. Staff have greeted us outside of the hotel road area to confirm of our arrival. Very lovely indeed and will recommend my family and friends who wanted to visit here.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. The room was cozy, and the onsen was wonderfully relaxing. One day, there was heavy snow, and we didn’t have proper footwear. Fortunately, the hotel provided us with snow boots, allowing us to explore the town comfortably. The staff’s hospitality truly made our stay an amazing experience.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Everything about it was perfect. Close to bus station, close to the yubatake and all downtown stuff, excellent food, comfiest comforter I’ve ever experienced, super friendly staff, and 4 readily available 24 hour private baths. Loved every second here, especially the private baths (I tried out two of them!).
