Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Meget fredelig omgivelse. Vores værelse var en aneks af bygning med egen onsen facilitet, hvilket giver ingen forstyrrelse af andre gæster. Stedet var meget familie og lokalt stemning. Hotellets personale var så behageligt og hjælpsomt med naturlig måde.

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn ligger i Kusatsu, 47 km fra Jigokudani Abepark og 15 km fra Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Dette pensionat har 3 stjerner. Her er et fælles opholdsområde, aircondition og gratis wi-fi. The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery ligger i Minakami, 36 km fra Gala Yuzawa Skiresort, og har gratis cykler, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. Everything was great. Craig and all the staff were wonderful and made us feel like home. They had great tips for things to do in the area, gave us rides from/to town, and also helped make reservations. The e-bikes made getting around super smooth. Breakfast and coffee every morning were top notch. And finally the lodge itself was spotless and in a super beautiful and peaceful area, with hikes starting pretty much right outside the door

Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami ligger i Minakami, 33 km fra Gala Yuzawa Skiresort, og har en terrasse, en restaurant og gratis privat parkering. The property is modern, contemporary and clean. With a wonderfully calm atmosphere and great views of the near by hills and river. Each room has its own onsen on the balcony. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They even called ahead for us to see if some things we wanted to do were open. We can’t wait to come back!

La Vista Kusatsu Hills ligger i Kusatsu, 47 km fra Jigokudani Abepark, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. La Vista was perfect with the lovely view of Kosatsu, the beautiful room and private onsen, as well as the various amenities. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I have no complaints and we’ll be recommending La Vista to your friends and family.

This is the first ever hotel I am giving a 10/10. Honestly was the best stay ive ever had. The location was great, just across from the bus stop. The room was clean and tidy, Yukatas left in room for us to use. The host was so kind and friendly, she even gave us a larger Yukata to wear! The breakfast was an amazing mix of Western meets Japanese, and was delivered to our room for us! She even brought welcome tea and snacks to our room when we arrived as well! Overall, the best hotel stay of our Japan trip so far!

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) ligger i Kusatsu, 45 km fra Jigokudani Abepark og 14 km fra Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Her er en restaurant og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt.... A marvellous ryokan that blends modern aesthetics with Japanese tradition. Breakfast and dinner is served in a pleasant dining room, and both are delicious and filling. The on-site onsen is open 24 hours and is clean and well maintained. Rooms are generously proportioned and very relaxing. Best of all is the staff, who are so friendly, diligent and considerate. Very good value for money.

Minakamisansou ligger i Minakami, 36 km fra Gala Yuzawa Skiresort, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Denne ryokan har 4 stjerner. We had a lovely view of the mountains. The private onsen was very nice, but the public onsen is very good as well! The staff is very nice and always accomodating. If you like traditional Japanese food, you'll love what they serve during the evening and morning. I recommend to stay at this ryokan either during fall (momiji) or winter. We were a bit too early for the heavy snowfalls, but still managed to catch some snow the second evening. Even without the snow it was lovely. I can imagine it looks amazing with the fall colors!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. From the second we stepped onto the threshold of this hotel, we felt welcomed and super cozy. Although the lady at the reception didn't speak English, she still did her best to explain everything we needed to know about the hotel and the area. We also had complimentary sweets and participated in a small tea ceremony, which was something we, as tourists visiting Japan for the first time, appreciated so much. The place had four private onsen rooms, with all the necessities you might need, such as different shampoos, towels, hairbrushes and cotton pajamas after the bath! Sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Yubatake was 1 minute away from us. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had stayed there longer!
