This motel has ski storage space and free use of bicycles is available. An array of activities are offered in the area, such as skiing and golfing. Summit Six is 10 km from Mt Hutt Lodge, while Exibition Quad Chair is 10 km from the property. The nearest airport is Christchurch International Airport, 71 km from the property. The location is absolutely fantastic with stunning mountain views, but the real magic here comes from the owners, Butch and Jo. They are super-friendly and went above and beyond to answer our questions and make us feel welcome. I strongly recommend visiting before they retire to experience this level of hospitality! Also, you simply must eat at their bar; even though it has limited hours, the food is incredible. We had the steak and dessert deal for $30 NZD, which was the best meal we’ve had, and the wine is very reasonably priced. To make the evening even better, they played live music for us while we ate! The rooms themselves are very spacious and having a fully-equipped kitchen was a huge plus. The atmosphere they have created here is truly special.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve, this holiday park features a coin-operated laundry and gas BBQs. Families can relax with 2 TV rooms, a children’s playground and a petanque court.

Hanmer Springs TOP 10 Holiday Park is located next to a forest reserve with walking and mountain biking tracks. Guests can hire fun pedal karts for use within the park. This is a lovely top 10, and a great example of the brand. Staff are friendly and helpful.The facilities are modern, clean and useful, comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen for those cooking for themselves The location is fantastic, walking distance to the spa and eateries and not long drive to the adrenaline fueled activities on the river

Settlers is a 5-star boutique motel offering comfort and privacy, in the village of Hanmer Springs. The motel is centrally located, just a short walk from the village’s popular thermal pools, shops, and restaurants.

Guests can enjoy many leisure activities in the natural surroundings, including hiking, kayaking, skiing and mountain biking. Everything was perfect !!! Very nice and cozy place. The hosts are very warm and welcoming, have maintained the property nicely and provide free laundry for Guests plus towels for hanmer springs thermal pool aswell.

An indoor play area is also available at 10 Rippingale Road, while guests can also relax in the garden. Beautiful, comfortable home. We loved our stay, had everything we needed.

Guests at the chalet will be able to enjoy activities in and around Castle Hill, like skiing, horse riding and windsurfing. If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and canoeing are possible in the surroundings. It was a fab stay. Only feedback was an oven tray had been left in the oven and it was full of rancide burnt oil and smelly.
