We left a piece of our heart at Hiša Pečovnik. The location is outstanding: On a mountain, surrounded by woods and with an incredible view. The house is really cozy, all wooden inside, both in the common areas and in the rooms, and very well looked after. The breakfast (included) and dinner (not included, but 100% recommended) are out of this world. They have a lot of local or auto-produced products and the cook is incredibly gifted. There also is a big fitness area, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna, which we had the chance to try and truly enjoyed. Nearby there are many beautiful things to visit, such as the Logarska Dolina, Velika Planina and much more (Slovenian Alps are breathtaking). But what truly makes this place one in a million is the Pečovnik family. They are the kindest hosts imaginable: always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely sweet. We’ve just left, and we’re already dreaming of coming back as soon as possible!

The area is popular for hiking and skiing, and bike hire is available at this 3-star inn. We had a wonderful stay at this place! We were offered a delicious welcome drink on our arrival of a homemade blueberry liquor. The breakfast was outstanding, including jams, yogurt, honey, meats, and cheese made by the hosts themselves. They also offered a cooked portion of eggs and pancakes. The coffee station was outstanding. If I could have the breakfast every day, I would! You can also pay separately to eat here for dinner. The menu features local cuts of many meats and was also absolutely delicious. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Even though I saw only the two owners while here, it was supremely clean throughout the place. The view of the river and surrounding area is lovely, and each room features a balcony. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you take advantage of it!

You can play table tennis and darts at the farm stay. If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and Na Logu - Farm Stay Ambrož Gregorc can arrange a bicycle rental service. Superb atmosphere. It is quiet and peaceful. The location is great, close to Logarska Dolina (a few KM) and great hiking/cycling options nearby. Vegetable garden, animals, great view, large outdoor space with seating areas. Kaja and her family are very welcoming. She is a fantastic host, super helpful and will make you feel very comfortable. Breakfast is great, at a reasonable price and with local (and home made!) products.

At the guest house, all units have a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or garden views. Guests can enjoy a meal at an outdoor dining area at the guest house. Sonja is a warm and welcoming host, full of helpful tips on what to do and where to go in the area. Her guesthouse is cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need for a great stay. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended!

Ski storage space is available on-site and both skiing and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of Apartma Discovering Slovenia. Everything was great. Tomaz the host was very friendly and the property was super clean and cozy. It's truly a home away from home. It's just a short drive to Logar Valley and really turned out to be the best part of our travel through Slovenia.

The size of the studio is fully compensated for by the terrace, which is very well equipped as well (large table with chairs, chaise longues, barbecue). The jacuzzi is a priceless addition! The host was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot and wouldn't hesitate to come back!
