We had a great time: a quaint building with truly unique interiors. The garden is almost magical, though it's a shame the river that flows next to it was completely dry (due to the excessive heat these days, around 38°C). Parking is convenient, and also logistically ideal for staying in the Sarlat and Montignac area. Our son was sick that night, soiling the sheets and blanket, and the very kind hostess was truly understanding, and we thank her again! Recommended!!

The directions and check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location was excellent, a 10 minute drive to the centre of Brive. The apartment was clean, welcoming, warm and more spacious than we had anticipated. The upper floor has lovely views of the valley below. The main living space is very large, with a huge L shaped sofa, all the facilities you would hope for, and everything intuitive. The two bedrooms were both of a very good size, and both had a bathroom. There is also a large landing area with a desk which we used. One bathroom has a bath, the other a fantastic shower. Both rooms had a TV, as did the main living area. We made use of both the hot tub and spa - both excellent and easy to operate. The decor was really interesting and has been thought through - it was very tasteful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the property. The host was also friendly and very helpful with questions and prompt in responding.

We had a wonderful stay at Cabane Rouge-Gorge - everything was perfect. The treehouse lodge was located in the middle of woods, surrounded by lots of trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. We were met by our host who showed us to the location and around the accommodation once we arrived. The lodge itself was so comfy and cosy and provided everything we needed. The outside space was great, especially the wood fired hot tub was the highlight for us both. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast that was dropped off in a beautiful basket - the yogurts (which I think were homemade) were delicious. It was a perfect stay and I'd highly recommend - we didn't want to leave.
