True Japanese style big room. There is a enclosed balcony with two single sofa, good for a cup of tea. Very good toiletries. Lots of parking. Love the green tea and little snacks everyday. Also enjoyed the Japanese style tea pots. We were looking for a place near Kofu station, since that is the central station for both Bus and train from Tokyo. But didn't find any suitable one. You need a car to move around Kofu and around places comfortably. Hired a car from near Kofu Station (Nissan rent-a-car, also there are Toyota rent-a-car). Drove to hotel is about 20 mins from Kofu Station.

We made a reservation at this hotel, but there was a "sister hotel" with a similar name 5min drive apart. By mistake, we showed up at the "wrong" Dormy Inn. However the staff checked us in, and made no issue with our "mistake"...

Amazing location! If the weather allows it, you have a perfect view of Mt. Fuji-san! The staff were amazing, really helpful and even assisted us with ordering food from outside, as we arrived quite late. Also the room had an amazing balcony view of the lake & mountains. The private open air bath was also really great!

Service was extremely thoughtful! The server who checked us in escorted us to our room, and even tidied our shoes! At keiseki dinner and breakfast, as a family with kids, the service was very polished, and the server really could anticipate our needs and acted proactively, to the point of surprising us! The meals were elaborate and of extremely high quality. Both the public onsen and the private in-room onsen were excellent. And of course, the view of Mount Fuji was super impressive! All Fufu hotels are designed with maximum customer privacy in mind. While the hotel is not right next to the coast of Lake Kawaguchiko but is instead "hidden" in a valley, the feeling of being inside a forest yet with Mount Fuji still highly visible, the picture is really surprisingly next level! A perfect, perfect stay overall!

EVERYTHING! We spent 3 weeks in Japan and this was honestly the best place we stayed. Our host was unbelievable, made us feel extremely welcome and he made us spent a unique time listening live music and having a nice drink.
