The Saccharum is a big hotel, with many rooms, yet you'll feel extremely well taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and large, you'll find many pools, including a wonderful rooftop one with many places to sit, read, and relax. There are many bars and restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, that went the extra mile because it was my wife's birthday. We were offered a bottle of champagne in the room, there were rose petals on the bed, and we had a nice surprise dessert at the end of our meal in the Alambique restaurant. We were given the opportunity to enjoy the hotel amenities after we had checked out for our last day, which was really enjoyable. Everything was perfect from the breakfast to the cocktails in the rooftop bar. Many thanks to all the staff that we had the opportunity to be in contact with. I can only recommend for you to stay at least a few days here. Oh there's an artificial sand beach near the hotel, but I'm not sure you'll want to leave the Saccharum during your stay : )

Wonderful views, we lived on the ground floor and still had good ocean view. We saw the best sunsets on the island here. The whole place is very peaceful and quiet. The studio is large and has two separate rooms. Amazing breakfasts and dinners. The staff is super nice! There is a free shuttle to Paul do Mar (ocean) on Friday and Monday.

Manuel met us when we arrived and showed us the property. The property is amazing! The views from our room were stunning! Our room was very clean and comfortable. They provided an awesome breakfast each morning. I would stay here again if I return to the island. I highly recommend staying here.

The food was exceptional. We came for one night's stay and stayed for 2 nights and ate dinner both nights in the hotel. The breakfast was one of the best I've had with a huge selection of fruits, breads, hot counter to meet everyone's taste. The pool and spa area was a nice treat after a day of hiking. The gardens are worth a look, they grow all kinds of fruit and vegetables and have some lovely views. I would stay here again and recommend the accommodation highly. Lovely soft seating areas to chill and relax. Friendly staff and the food was amazing.
