We stayed there with a family of four. The hotel staff is very friendly, they allowed us to check-in before the official check-in time. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a great ocean view. Beds are comfortable. The facilities are great, our favorite one was outdoor pool with heated sea water. Breakfast is excellent with a big variety of freshly cooked meals, warm and cold food. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

The check-in area for the Preferred guests was fantastic. We waited for a while to get checked in, but we enjoyed a welcome drink and fresh snacks, and the view from the balcony while waiting. The receptionist Sara made our stay unforgettable by arranging a surprise - an extremely personalized and well-thought dessert at the end of our birthday dinner. Sara's colleagues who presented us the dessert were also very friendly, professional and kind. This hotel has amazing facilities, absolutely outstanding staff, and the most epic location so far. The food was top-notch and high quality, too. Everything was fantastic - the ice-cream bar, the restaurants, and even the buffet food. The views from the property are unforgettable.

The room was spacious and clean, the hotel exceeded my expectations. In May I did not see any children in the hotel, it was very quite. Breakfast was ok, but without fireworks. I had expected more fresh vegetables to do vegge salat, some feta or other white cheese, there was nothing except tomatoes. Here a huge disappointment. Spa centre small but nice. Hotel very close to the airport, 5min by taxi - cost 10EUR with tip, few lovely local restaurants (with fish with banana!) close to the hotel, the village small, very quite and relatively flat, comparing to Funchal. On weekend few performances in the village by the local singers and dancers. I loved this quite place.

The location is just stunning. The Maisonette Suites have everything you look for. Shower & toilet on both floors, 2 nice terraces. The infinity pool has always lots of free sunbeds & is so beautiful. The staff is very helpful and natural. They have fun working and it leads to great interactions. The Avista Restaurant is just spectacular. The food (breakfasts & dinners) mindblowing. The views on the Atlantic above the cliff - no words. We will be back! 100%. Thank you for a great week.

The location is a perfect distance from downtown (Bolt/taxi or longer walk), Lido, Pingo grocery stores, and to Sao Martinho, where we visited Madeira friends. Plus, the hotel is just down one street level, accessed by a staircase to the right, that has great restaurants. Pools and grounds, including an orchard garden, and sunset views are incredible. Additionally, there is live music every night. The 4 foot flower arrangements in the lobbies are beautiful! One of our favourite places to stay on the island because of its lovely large grounds which also escapes the noise of island traffic. Lot's of hot water too. Highly recommend!
