Friendliness of the staff from reception, house-keeping and restaurant staff. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax. We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance. A lovely hotel.

Great location to the Camino. Large well kept facility. Rooms were comfortable and we all had a good nights sleep. Dinner was lovely. Best so far and breakfast was good also.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Great selection, cooked and continental. Staff could not have been friendlier. Great value for money. Excellent location, close to the trails at Cascata do Pincho.
