The hostel was very spacious and exceeded expectations in its facilities and lounge areas. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful with bag storage during tours. Rooms were well heated, which was perfect for the minus temperatures that Uyuni can reach at night. Only stayed one night due to a packed itinerary but the hostel would be perfect for a longer stay too.

Staff are nice. Rooms are super clean and comfy. Beds all have sockets next to them and the upper bunks don’t squeak. The hostel has lots of communal space and is quite social. The breakfast is brilliant - scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, coffee/tea, juice, water. They have a space for leaving your bags while on tours (small fee per day). The bathrooms are plentiful and clean, with toilet paper. Showers have hot water.

Clean, spacious, comfortable hotel with great wifi. They stored our bags for the 3 days when we went on our Uyuni tour. Breakfast was amazing - fruits, bread, juice, coffee and there is someone who cooks you eggs too! They also let you store your bags after you check out and rest/hang in a rear lobby before you get your bus out. Its location is a little further away from the main touristy street, but we didn’t mind because that meant it was quieter.

The rooms are very spacious and keep very warm with the heater provided, which was great! Friendly staff who were very welcoming, great breakfast including eggs made fresh. The bathroom was very clean and had great hot water.

The hotel is amazing! The staff were friendly and accommodating. They help organise tours if you want. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the town and walking distance from everything, including the bus station. The bedroom was so spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and had good pressure. The breakfast was great, lots of variety. The decor of the whole hotel is so cool! We were told we could use the sauna if we wanted - which we weren't expecting - which was a lovely touch.

Palacio de Sal was a very nice relaxing gateway after days of trekking. The hotel is a 30 min drive from Uyuni, but it has everything you need for recharging: nice food, a spa with pool and saunas and body/face treatments. Big thank you to Carola for the amazing treatments and the rest of the staff for arranging our transports.
