The location in an enchanting forest in the middle of a winter wonderland and away from the crowds and lights of the nearby town of Akaslompolo (though not too far as to make it a long drive) was excellent for peaceful relaxation and observation of the northern lights. The staff were excellent and made every effort to accommodate to our needs and special requests. The pirate sauna/jacuzzi and ice hole were a delight!

Breakfast was delicious! Dinner and lunch were both wonderful. Staff was warm, kind and helpful! The room was beautiful, the hot tub was straight forward and easy to use, I wish there were figure skates instead of just hockey skates to try out the "rink" - I need a toe pick :) But otherwise, the 2km snoeshoe trail was lovely, too!

Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

Villa Amara & Private Spa ligger i Rovaniemi, tæt på University of Lapland og 4,2 km fra Arktikum Science Centre. This villa made our mini break in Rovaniemi perfect. We loved the style and the whole vibe of the place. The spa felt like something out of a luxury hotel with a large hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, the beds were very comfortable, and the place was well equipped altogether. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.
