Pascal and his team have made our trip to Le Thor one we will never forget. What a great host and absolutely the prime location if you want to experience the countryside of France. The rooms are huge and cozy, they feel like royalty rooms. The breakfast included was amazing: fruits, yogurt, bread, etc. Definitely worth it to pay extra for the spa - it just adds so much to the overall experience. Lastly, Pascal made sure we had the best stay - we didn’t have a car so he helped arrange for our cabs and restaurants. We feel very nostalgic looking back at our stay. If there is an accommodation that has set a high standard for us - it is Les Carmes. <3

Got the family room with balcony overlooking the pool where I was able to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset, doesn’t get better. Top quality bedding and linen honestly couldn’t say anything negative about it. A true 5 star hotel. Also made use of the gym.

The pool was small but adequate. We did not eat at the restaurant as it was a little too fancy for our taste, but did find a great restaurant up the hill called the Trident.

Thierry and Nathalie are welcomed us with all the hospitality. They are very kind and interesting people, we had a wonderful evening and morning together. Everything thing was new. Pierre, the host, was very nice and helpful. The laundry room has 2 machines and 2 driers. The pool was a great refreshing break. We just hoped we could stay more.
