We did not have breakfast. To go down town you need to go by bus or by taxi.

The architecture of this place is mind-blowing, the rooms are very pretty, the pools are clean and offerring a pleasant swim, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff is really nice. The fact that the hotel is right by the beach and that you can lie on the beach and go swim in the pool at the same time sets this hotel apart from most hotels in the Rethymno city. Another great thing about the location of the hotel is that you can walk to the nearby tavernas for lunch or dinner or to the city centre (it's a 35-minutes walk to the old town). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We also liked the "adults-only" atmosphere - it was very peaceful at the pools and the beach. The hotel and the whole city also feels very safe and there is nobody who would disturb you at the beach (as it is common on some other touristic places).

A buffet, continental or Full English/Irish breakfast is available at the property. Very clean, very well taken care of. Food was really good, I have not felt the need to go eat outside. I think the beach and the sea side of the hotel was really good. It felt really comfortable overall.

Our room was upgraded to a suite upon arrival without is having to ask, which was greatly appreciated. The room felt new and fresh and the cleaning each day was amazing - everything was re-stocked consistently including pool towels which was perfect. The pools were very clean and well maintained and having the option of two adult pools was a bonus.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. Where do I start - we truly enjoyed our holidays at Enorme Santanna Beach Hotel. The facilities and rooms have very nice, clean design. From the hotel there is a nice view to the city and mountains. Hotel is located next to the beach which is fully equipped beach with comfortable sunbeds and beach bar. The beach is rocky - black rock and sand beach, but I really liked the character of the beach. Although the sea bottom itself is rocky, still it is possible to comfortably enter it and swim. Food was excellent - fresh and delicious, I especially enjoyed breakfast and dinner, it’s wide variety of different cusines and desserts were outstanding. The staff is friendly, kind and always ready to help you, so for the hotel staff itself I give 10/10. You are great and doing a great job there! As this was the first part of our trip and we did not want to do anything much just sunbathe on the beach and relax, we found this a perfect choice.

Everything was just perfect from the moment we got in! Amazing staff, super clean, and awesome views from the room. Breakfast and dinner are served in the room (if preferred) or you can eat in the restaurant. There’s a nice small gym and spa you can use. The location was also very good, 10 minutes drive from the Municipal Parking in the center. On top of it all, the service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
