Slieve Russell Hotel ligger på en 120 hektar stor grund. Det har en 18-hullers mesterskabs-golfbane, en 20-meters swimmingpool og en luksuriøs spa. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. All the preservation of the estate is exceptionally on point. Having the animals at the property just makes you out more do the walking trails, experience the wild.. just perfect The spa area is definitely just one of the best in all of Ireland!! The facilities are just stunning, and the heating pool outside with the views of nature.. amazing.. The bedrooms are super clean, a very large room and I had the balcony with a view of the sheep grazing.. supeeer The food menus from the room service to the bar or even the breakfast was really good as well, good portions and not expensive

Where do I even start? If I could give more than five stars, I’d happily break the rating system. We came up to Cavan for our wedding and were simply hoping to find a place big enough for us, our bridal party, and our fur babies (who, as always, insisted on coming as honorary guests). My expectations were… modest, to say the least. And then we arrived. From the moment we parked outside and opened the front door, we just stood there in awe. The house was stunning — fully stocked, spotless, and somehow managed to feel both luxurious and like a warm hug. The vibe suited us perfectly; it was like the house took one look at our personalities and said, “Yep, I got you.” There was so much space for everyone to spread out, yet we still ended up spending our nights gathered around the table playing card games, laughing way too loudly, and creating the kind of memories I’ll hold onto forever. I would 1000% stay here again. Honestly, this might be the only place we ever book in Cavan from now on. It didn’t just meet our expectations — it packed them into a suitcase, carried them upstairs, and tucked them into a beautifully made bed.

Copper Cove Cottage ligger i Shercock med udsigt til en have. Her er en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Der er også gratis wi-fi. The property was very nice, clean and new. All of the facilities - the jacuzzi, the sauna and the spa space were brand new and well kept. The property and lake was gorgeous and kayaking was available with a bbq stand. We had a very relaxing getaway and would definitely return and recommend! Sabina and David were great hosts, they made us feel at home.

Linden Lodge ligger ved stranden i Shercock, kun 11 km fra Maudabawn Cultural Centre. Her er en have, et privat strandområde, en terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Everything was perfect from the start. Sabina and David were so lovely and could not do enough for us to make our stay fantastic. I happened to tell Sabina it was our anniversary and when we arrived at our accommodation, Sabina had a bottle of bubbly on ice to celebrate. We also had our dog Bear with us and she was allowed to go everywhere. Not something you will find in a 'dog friendly' hotel. Do yourself and that someone special in your life a favour and book this place. You will not be sorry. Until next time Sabina and David!

The staff and the hotel rooms are great. As usual, if you rent a car it is great to be on the edge of a town/city. Free parking. Quiet area. Nice to walk around, etc.
