I booked 2 rooms (premier deluxe twin) for 3 nights in December 2024. Hakodate is my first stop in my 2 weeks Hokkaido trip. The breakfast is so very exceptional! This hotel’s exceptional breakfast sets the standard so high that none of the hotels in our Hokkaido trip could match. When we had our breakfast in our next destination (in Noboribetsu), my elder son’s face is so black! Hahaha! If you are planning your trip, you might want to put this hotel as the last hotel. Room is of good size. Bright and gives very good view. Beds are comfy. Toilets are very clean. The onsen pools are new and big. In my trip, my favourite onsen pool is Noboribetsu Grand Hotel’s sulphur pool. If I am back in Hakodate, I will stay in this hotel again.

Amazing place to stay. Very authentic hotel for a real Japanese experience. We all loved it (2adults, 2 teens) and could have stayed for much longer. Funny local town with a great ramen bar run by an elderly couple and their daughter and not much else but hiking trails (mind the bears!). Amazing location and well worth visiting, this hotel stay loved up to all our expectations.

Tower eleven hotel ligger i Kitahiroshima, 12 km fra Shin-Sapporo Station og 23 km fra Sapporo Station. Her er en bar og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. The staff were absolutely incredible; we had to have our bags shipped down to Osaka due to smaller stops in Tokyo and Mt Fuji (too short to be able to guarantee the bags would arrive on time) which is a crazy distance. The ladies at the Information Centre were able to explain the process for this and even drew us a map to get to the shuttle bus to the train station and encouraged us to take a jacket and do a practice walk the night before. The tour we booked was also fantastic, and the food and local beer was great too. The room was incredible; it was so affordable for the space you're given and relaxing in the onsen overlooking the ballpark was an unforgettable experience, they even have snacks and a bar! Everyone we came across was so lovely, even other people staying were interested to hear about our trip as it's not a common place to find foreigners.

Setsu Niseko ligger i Kutchan, 4,2 km fra Hirafu Station, og har et fitnesscenter, en have og en restaurant samt privat parkering. Everything was great. Staffs were helpful and very kind. Breakfast was great selection of foods. Ones was good both public and private. Toyota Rent-Car was just across from the hotel. Bus stop was just few minutes away from the hotel if you need to go Kutchan.

Boasting a fitness centre and a bar, Portom International Hokkaido is situated in Chitose, 100 metres from New Chitose Airport Onsen and 15 km from Salmon Hometown Chitose Aquarium. Nice and easy walk to the domestic terminal. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were fantastic had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfy and quite big for a twin room. The view over looking the airport was a nice touch.

Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono ligger i Kutchan, 12 km fra Hirafu Station. Her er concierge-tjeneste, en have, en bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden allergivenlige værelser. The property is very modern and relatively new. However, I was impressed by the level of thought that went into every facet of our stay, from the room's views to the design touches, furnishings, and standard amenities. The food in general was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially exceptional. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Continental/American style items, but the quality of the local Hokkaido produce and ingredients put it over the top. We ate at two restaurants, an Italian and Japanese grill, as well as the Lobby dining area. All three were fantastic. Their pool and Onsen were modern, spotless, and had plenty of towels (a pet peeve). The service was remarkable as well. Any issues we encountered were dealt with immediately and without any pushback.
