Classic charming pension with the most friendly owners! The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

We loved the breakfast each morning, the quiet building, comfortable beds and most of all the natural mineral water onsen. Soaking after a day of skiing was a treat. The staff was very helpful with directions to get there and also helped us ship our giant ski bags onward. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would recommend Myosen to anyone.
