It was our splurge hotel because we are usually pretty cheap, but the price was still very reasonable, and we have never stayed in such an amazing suite! We had a two bedroom suite - one was obviously set up for children with a nice twin bed and a crib in it, and the other one had a larger bed for a couple. There were fresh flowers everywhere, great amenities, and it looked like the other spa services would be quite amazing too, and very affordable. The staff was incredible, particularly Anna, she really made sure our stay was perfect. We did massages in the spa, and they were incredibly relaxing, yet still therapeutic. There is a grocery store about a block away, so you could really make use of the kitchen set up in the room if you wanted to save money. We went to the beach on the way out of town, and I highly recommend it - a beautiful area, fine sand beach with fun pebbles as well, and a TON of interesting things for kids of all ages to play on. The beach is rated excellent for swimming in Latvia’s standard rating system.

We stayed for 3 nights. The house is located on the territory of Baltic Rancho in the forest near the river in a very picturesque place. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is the place for you. The territory is large, beautiful and well-kept. The staff is polite, always in touch. We were on Ligo (Jaanipäev), the hosts organized a concert and a bonfire. They invited everyone to take part. For an additional fee, you can rent saunas, the outdoor pool is free. Log cabin is a small house, located away from the other buildings, which makes it more private. The house has a room with a fireplace, a bedroom, a shower and a toilet. If you are not very picky, then a small refrigerator, kettle, microwave, small stove and grill outside will help you prepare food. There are enough dishes and cutlery. You need to take charcoal for the grill with you. Firewood for the fireplace can be bought from the security guard. It is better to bring drinking water with you. Since the road is under repair until the end of September, you need to be prepared to take a detour (15-20 km), but believe me, when you arrive at the place, it will win your heart!
