We were 3 friends travelling by bike through the Netherlands. We had great communication on the run up to our trip. Easy check in. Dennis was especially helpful showing us around the apartment and making is feel very welcome. The location is perfect in the old town. Very close to restaurants, shops and the bakery which we visited for breakfast. A peaceful and comfortable place with excellent facilities and space. Storing our bikes securely in the garage was no problem at all. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. We hope to return.

Enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a very large open plan building used for businesses - kind of reminded us of university accommodation. The apartment is spacious and easy to relax in.

I was working at Science Park for a week and could not find a place to stay in Amsterdam that would be both affordable and conveniently placed, so I opted to stay in Bussum instead. Bastion Hotel was a great choice for that! It is located right next to the train station from which a Sprinter for Amsterdam leaves every half an hour. Thus, my commute to Science Park was easy after having a very nice breakfast, and when I was back the room was spacious and comfortable so I could continue working and relax at the end of the day.

Very spacious flats, with a very nice room layout. Whirlpool and Sauna are easy to handle and very relaxing. Great “dutchen-concept”, where you don’t have to worry about minor things such as dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, coffee capsules for the first days etc.

The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is also ideally located, close to many attractions and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings contribute to a truly relaxing experience. I will surely be there again, as it's not just a stay but an unforgettable experience.

From beginning to end, an absolutely amazing experience. An incredible homely and cozy feel with rich history. Rooms were spacious and very well presented. This felt like a 5 star hotel. Easy access to the town centre and parking just at the back of the house. Hosts were super kind and breakfast was outstanding. Do yourself a favour - if you’re looking for a place close to Amsterdam, but with a slower pace and incredible accomodation, book now. You won’t regret it.

A real little gem with lovely rooms and shared space area - you can see an interior decorateur was at work here, with great taste and lots of love. Everything in really good shape, comfy beds and nice bathroom. Lovely staff and really nice breakfast room, also to read a book. Nice lounge music. Good choices in the "mini bar"

Little slice of garden of Eden with fabulous host Linda who is extremely helpful, cheerful and has a wicked sense of humour. Idyllic surroundings with birdsong and gorgeous trees, flowers and goldfish ponds. The villa was well equipped for making your own breakfast and snacks. The furnishings were of excellent quality and comfort. The spa/pool next door was a fabulous way to round out a busy day. The town of Laren nearby is a great neighbourhood with lots of shopping and restaurants. All that and only 30min easy drive to central Amsterdam.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.
